Obama will catch hell from both fashionistas and talk radio for wearing this shirt while hanging in Asia.

Besides being ugly and disco-shirt-shiny it has a mandarin collar. And on the Glenn Beck chalkboard Mandarin = Chinese = Commie! So might he really be that Manchurian Candidate warned about in the campaign? Programmed to turn America socialist and force Tai Chi on our grandparents?

At the very least it means Obama is an appeaser of dictators, right? Too bad for Hannity (or whoever joins in) he’s in Singapore which really pisses off the Chinese dictators for not being socialist like them. [Update: Obama bows before the Japanese emperor. They'll say that in one gesture he's being submissive and dissing the memory of Pearl Harbor.]

But it’s still a terrible fashion choice for Obama. As uncool as the “dad jeans” from the All Star Game. From afar it looks like a mock turtle (not acceptable since ‘99), closer in it’s a jammy top, wait no it’s a muumuu draping the skinny president, then up close you get he’s doing the Bond villain thing.

Makes me wonder why the mandarin collar shirt became the official super-villain look?
